Co-Owner, Strength Coach
Kurt holds a Doctorate Degree in Health Education and over 25 years of experience working in Public Education, Alternative Education, and Correctional Facilities. Kurt played Division I-AA Football at Saint Francis University in the early 1990's. While at SFU, Kurt earned 1st team All Conference awards, played in ECAC Championship game and earned Team Captain Honors. Kurt's personal best power lifting benchmarks at SFU was Squat 605, Deadlift 500 and Bench 405. After his experience at Saint Francis, Kurt pursued a profession in counseling and gained significant experience as a strength coach over the years training athletes at the high school as well as collegiate levels. In addition to fitness and strength training, Kurt coached high school football, baseball, and softball. Kurt attributes his passion and motivation in the health & fitness industry to his late brother Frankie who passed away from cancer in 1994 at the age of 17. Kurt resides in South Butler with his Wife Sally and enjoys Strength Training with his Daughter Meredith.

John brings another dynamic of professional expertise to our health & fitness delivery of services. John is the Vice President of Business Development for American Oncology Network, LLC. John has more than 25 years of physician practice management experience. John has also spent 12 years prior with companies such as Johnson & Johnson and Ortho Biotech serving oncology physician practices in many advanced roles both regionally and nationally. In addition, John graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. He is committed to his community and supports local food banks and charitable services. Over the past 20 plus years, he also served as assistant coach to various youth sport teams including but not limited to wrestling, lacrosse and baseball.

Jay has over 20 years of teaching, coaching, and athletic training experience. He holds a Masters degree in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie-Mellon University. He is a Type-I insulin-dependent diabetic. Through personal experience, Jay has found that distance running is the most effective means of dealing with this disease. He has completed six full marathons, with a PR of 3:18 at Harrisburg in Nov. 2013, and numerous half-marathons. Jay is a certified personal trainer through the American Fitness Professionals and Associates (AFPA) and holds an ACE-approved certification in High Intensity Kettlebell Training. Finally, Jay has completed the Team USA SafeSport Training for prevention of all forms of abuse in organized sports.
